LIGHTHOUSES ARE VERY BEAUTIFUL TO ME
THEY SHINE THEIR LIGHT THAT ALL MIGHT SEE
I LOVE MOST THE ONE CALLED JESUS
A SPIRITAL LIGHTHOUSE GOD GAVE US
WITHOUT THAT LIGHTHOUSE I WOULD FOREVER BE LOST
IN EACH STORM AGAINST THE ROCKS I'D BE TOSSED
BUT JESUS THE LIGHTHOUSE SHOWS THE WAY
AND TURNS MY DARKEST NIGHT TO DAY
GOD'S LIGHT HOUSE
OH LORD! WHAT IS GOING ON DOWN HERE
SO MANY TRYING TO CAUSE SUCH FEAR
LIFES ARE CUT SHORT SO MANY GOING HOME
SUCH A FEELING OF LOSS WITH LOVED ONES GONE
IT SEEMS WITH OUT SENSE OR REASON
THINGS SO CHANGED LIKE THE PASSING SEASON
NO RESPECT OF PERSON YOUNG MIDDLE AGE OR OLD
EVERYONE MUST BE READY WE ARE TOLD
HOW MANY MORE WARNINGS MUST WE READ
BEFORE WE WAKE UP AND TAKE HEED
WE CAN NOT LEAVE GOD WAITING OUT SIDE
WE MUST ALLOW HIM IN EVERYTHING TO ABIDE
WHAT EVER WE DO WHERE EVER WE GO
WE ARE GOD'S LIGHT HOUSE, LET HIS LIGHT SHOW

THE LIGHT HOUSE
There`s a lighthouse on the hillside that overlooks life`s sea
When I`m tossed it sends out light, light that I might see
And the light that shines in darkness now will safely lead me o`er If it wasn`t for that lighthouse my ship would be no more.
And I thank God for the lighthouse, I owe my life to him
For Jesus is the lighthouse, and from the rocks of sin
He has shown the light around me that I might clearly see
And if it wasn`t for the lighthouse then where would this ship be?
Everybody that lives around us said tear that old lighthouse down
The big ships don`t sail this way anymore, there`s no use in it standing around
Then my mind goes back to that stormy night when just in time I saw the light
Yes, the light from that old lighthouse that stands up there on the hill...
And I thank God for the lighthouse, I owe my life to him
For Jesus is the lighthouse, and from the rocks of sin
He has shown the light around me that I might clearly see
And if it wasn`t for the lighthouse then where would this ship be?
